Today Spencer and Katie blessed baby Karson in an intimate setting with family and friends at their church. It was a beautiful blessing and a good time visiting with each other, with the weather holding off enough that we all got in and out of Logan without too much fuss. It was a good day and it was nice to be a part of it.
Yesterday my cousin Lynae had a baby boy in Alabama where she and her husband Tyler live. So far (as far as I know) he remains nameless, but I was able to talk to the happy mama and my aunt who is playing the part of the giddy grandma just fine. They are all doing well and are incredibly happy to have baby Unsicker here!
In other news, life just keeps going on and on with not too much change, but that tends to be a good thing. I've decided that the rut I've created for myself is okay. It's kind of nice to have the kind of life you can count on, and it's nice to know what tomorrow is going to be like. It's a little scary considering that when I get contented and comfortable, something happens to remind me that it's not all roses. I'm hoping that the blessing part of the cycle lasts a little longer and nothing happens to disrupt my rut. All in all, right now I'm living the good life and I'll stick with that!
